Members Guide

Overview
ORLC Interactive provides members of the Ohio River Launch Club with various communication tools including:

• Forums on various topics

• Event listing with details and the ability to respond or discuss the event.  Please note the description on the main site's calendar page does not include all the information about the event.  Viewing the event in ORLC Interactive provides all information concerning the event as well as members comments.

• Photo's of various ORLC activities

• Links of Interest containing various boating related links

• Membership and Seniority Lists containing the current ORLC membership and a list of membership seniority

• Meeting Minutes containing minutes of ORLC Meetings

• By-laws and Constitution containing the By-Laws & Constitution of the club

After registration and login, members of ORLC will be able to view and comment on all the topics while visitors will only see a limited selection of items.  ORLC members who are not registered or have not logged in, will be treated as visitors.

Registration
Registration for ORLC members is a two step process.  First, register via the "Register" link on the left side menu then click the  red instructions on the left side menu to request your member status upgrade.  The upgrade will NOT be immediate, as this is a manual function performed by the site administrator.  You will receive a confirmation email when you have been upgraded to member status.

Each user must have a "unique email address" and be registered separately.  So if a member of your family wishes to have their own member account, they must have a unique email address and go through the above registration process.

Notifications
An additional feature of ORLC Interactive is the notification feature that alerts members of new posts or information added to the interactive section of orlconline.org.  A checkbox entitled "Notify me when a new event is added" appears at the top of  every section.  Merely check the box and you will receive an email when content is added to that section.  Please note, you must have the checkbox entitled "Receive Email Notifications" in your profile checked.  This should already be checked unless you unchecked it during registration.  You may want to go to "Edit Profile" to verify that this box has been checked.

Password Reminder
If you have forgotten your password, please click "Click here for a password reminder" on the Login page.  An email will be sent to you containing your password.
